Women Restored is a place where you can escape the chaos of the world and find encouragement for your soul. The older I get, the more I appreciate the words the psalmist David wrote in Psalm 23:2, “He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul.”
As women, we all need moments of stillness in our lives. We are always taking care of others or handling various responsibilities, so it’s essential to take time for ourselves. Above all, we must find time to connect with Jesus. When we are renewed spiritually, we become healthier physically and emotionally, and we are better equipped to fulfill God’s purpose for us. My goal is to bring my passion for writing to life and help you find meaning and purpose, even in the messy and broken places of life.
Interestingly enough, one of the lowest points in my life brought about the greatest transformation I’ve ever known. This low point also revealed my purpose. As I cried, prayed, and poured out my heart to God, He healed me, and in my healing, He gave me a passion to help others heal. As I delved into the Word, I found beautiful scriptures like Joel 2:25, which says, “He promises to restore the years that I lost,” and Isaiah 61:3, which beautifully explains how He wants to give us beauty for ashes and the oil of joy instead of mourning. Through these low places, I learned that I serve a God who wants to work miracles in my life.
Romans 4:17 – “I serve a God who brings dead things to life!” This passage came alive to me in a personal way when God restored my dying marriage! I realized that no matter how dire a situation appears, God can always turn it around for His good and His glory, just as He promises in Romans 8:28.
No matter what you’re going through in your life right now, Women Restored is a place for you—a place to learn, grow, and connect with your heavenly Father. He longs to meet with you and refresh your soul. He desires to reveal His purpose and plan for your life.
“Call on me and I will show you great and mighty things.” Jeremiah 33:3
